About

Lookout Stud was originally established in 2005 by Clive Nuzum and his Family. Clive started out by purchasing a Connemara stallion and a handful of mares to begin a breeding program of Ireland's native Connemara ponies. He bred these Connemara ponies to train them into showing and show jumping before selling them locally and abroad.

In 2009 Clive then opened up his doors and provided the local community with a Riding School and Livery yard alongside the stud. Over the years many kids & adults have learned to ride here and a vast variety of clients have housed their horses here at Lookout Stud Equestrian.

Now in 2019 after 14 years in business Clive has started another new chapter in his lively-hood converting Lookout Stud Equestrian to a now private livery yard providing his clientele with a peaceful environment where they can freely work their horses uninterrupted, while he continues to breed Connemara ponies.

He also opens up his yard for Wicklow Bay to use as their training grounds during both summer and winter, As well as allowing them to hold a annual tournament every year resulting in many players from other clubs across Ireland camping and using these extensive facilities.
